Courtyard by Marriott Tashkent

The hotel is located 4km (approximately 20 minutes) from the airport and about 5km from the centre of Tashkent. The best way to get to the centre is by Yandex or by taxi, which is very cheap and convenient in Tashkent. The hotel has a restaurant and bar on the ground floor and a lounge bar on the 8th floor that makes excellent cocktails. The food is decent and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly - I had a request for an early check-in and they accommodated me, also allowing me to choose a room I preferred. The guys working at the check-in were very pleasant and hospitable. There is an ATM in the hotel where you can withdraw money and exchange USD for Uzbekistani som. The rooms were spotless and maintained every day, and complimentary water and nuts awaited me every day. Overall, the hotel met my expectations.

We had a wonderful stay at the Courtyard by Marriott in Tashkent. We were three adult family members travelling to Uzbekistan for the first time. We booked a Family Suite and it provided us with plenty of room and even a small kitchen for preparing morning coffee and snacks in the afternoons. Everyone at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, but we would like to give a special mention to Doniyor, who went out of his way to answer our many questions, he gave us plenty of ideas of what sites to see, how too get there using the Yandex Go app, and was overall a great asset to the Marriott brand. He typically works the night shift, but we feel very lucky, that because of the Navroz holiday, he was on day shift to help us in so many ways.

Bed Breakfast I stayed there few days earlier the same week and what I loved that at least it seemed that temperature in the room was adjusted and was normal (around 22) what made experience staying there and sleeping much more pleasant.

The location is highly convenient for travelers between the airport and the railway station, as both hubs are just a 10-minute taxi ride away.
